Happy Holidays from CASA! As 2010 draws to a close and 2011 is on the horizon we have quite a bit to be thankful for and also to look forward to: 1) an increase in awareness of the effects of drug and alcohol abuse among our youth and a corresponding decrease in use as cited in a 2005-2010 Juvenile Drug & Alcohol Crimes Report distributed at a Drug Free Meeting in Los Gatos….

CASA recently helped to fund the Hopefulness & Help presentation at RJFisher Middle School regarding teenage depression and suicide. The evening was informative, very valuable and delivered in an honest and heartfelt manner.
